AAN Country Directors Visit to CIF

From the 6th–9th July 2026, the ActionAid Nigeria’s Country Director, Andrew Mamedu embarked on his first official visit to Akwa Ibom State since the commencement of the Strategic Partnership Agreement II (SPA II) Project, implemented by Clement Isong Foundation in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria.

The visit provided a unique opportunity to engage directly with government officials, community leaders, youth networks, project beneficiaries, and the CIF team to assess the progress, impact, and opportunities emerging from the SPA II Project.

Throughout the visit, strategic meetings were held with key government ministries and institutions, youth advocacy groups, community leaders, and young people in Ibeno Local Government Area. These engagements reaffirmed our shared commitment to strengthening youth leadership, promoting inclusive governance, advancing climate resilience, and creating sustainable development opportunities for communities across Akwa Ibom State.

Every conversation reinforced one important truth: lasting development is built through collaboration, inclusion, and meaningful partnerships.
