Elkanah Oluyori
Director
Elkanah Oluyori leads strategic programming in governance reform, policy engagement, and citizen-centered development. He is responsible for shaping the Foundation’s institutional strategy, partnerships, and impact across governance, youth empowerment, and accountability initiatives in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria. Under his leadership, the Foundation has deepened civic engagement with government and communities to improve public service delivery and fiscal transparency.
He has played a visible role in high-level dialogues including fiscal policy conversations such as Medium Term Expenditure Framework engagements that elevate citizen voices in governance decisions.
The Foundation’s initiatives under his direction emphasize transparency, accountability, and inclusive development. Elkanah also serves as Interim Secretary of the Akwa Ibom Civil Society Organisations Forum, supporting structured collaboration among civil society actors to strengthen governance and citizen influence in public affairs.
In this role, he contributes to efforts that improve civic oversight, collective advocacy, and organizational development across the state. He has been quoted in interviews and press releases advocating for mechanisms that improve public accountability. Notably, he led the launch of a public information portal designed to make local government budgets and development plans more accessible to citizens, enabling communities to track performance and reinforce accountability.

Project Manager
Dr. Caroline Gordian serves as a Project Manager at Clement Isong Foundation, where she leads the planning, implementation, and oversight of projects with a strategic focus on success and measurable impact. She coordinates project activities, manages resources, and liaises with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration. In addition, she develops project concept notes and proposals that align with the Foundation’s objectives and contribute to long-term programmatic growth.
In her role, Dr. Caroline Gordian emphasizes structured monitoring, documentation, and knowledge management, capturing lessons learned and best practices to strengthen future initiatives. She tracks project progress, identifies challenges, and implements solutions to ensure that activities meet timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations. Communications & Policy Officer
Wonderfullove Pius serves as a Communications & Policy Officer at Clement Isong Foundation, where she leads the organization’s communication, visibility, and stakeholder engagement efforts. She manages branding, produces newsletters, press releases, social media content, and multimedia materials, while ensuring accurate and impactful representation of the Foundation’s work. In addition to her core communications responsibilities, she contributes to human resource support and people coaching, helping to strengthen internal operations and foster a culture of growth and collaboration.
With an academic foundation in Accounting (B.Sc) and a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Wonderfullove brings a wealth of knowledge that enhances her versatility and effectiveness in her role. She leverages her understanding of organizational processes, structure, and strategy to streamline operations, support decision-making, and optimize the impact of her communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives. This combination of technical expertise and creative insight enables her to approach her work holistically, integrating her gifts with strategic organizational needs.

Utibe Ekanem serves as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer at Clement Isong Foundation, where he oversees the design and implementation of systems that track program performance and measure impact. He supports the development of monitoring frameworks, data collection tools, and reporting structures that ensure projects are aligned with set objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
In his role, he coordinates data gathering, analysis, and documentation to provide timely and accurate insights for decision-making. He works closely with program teams to strengthen result-based management practices, ensure compliance with donor requirements, and maintain accountability standards across all interventions. His work contributes to improving program quality and operational effectiveness.
Utibe Ekanem also promotes organizational learning by facilitating reflection sessions, documenting lessons learned, and supporting adaptive programming. Justus Etuknwa is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s programs and activities to ensure they align withthe core objectives. He supports program planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution of initiatives, while maintaining clear documentation and reporting. His role involves working closely with partners, beneficiaries, and team members to ensure programs are delivered effectively and within set timelines.

Climate Justice Inspirator with ActionAid Nigeria
Mbetobong John is an environmental and climate justice advocate with cross-cutting experiences in climate education, community-led development, sustainable business practices, and waste management. Her work sits at the intersection of grassroots action, policy-conscious programming, and youth-driven climate leadership, with a strong focus on justice-centred and locally grounded solutions.
As a Climate Justice Inspirator, she supports the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Agreement II Project (SPA II) in an operational and collaborative capacity with Clement Isong Foundation, advancing climate justice initiatives. She contributes to programme design, coordination, and strategic documentation, while strengthening the capacity of community-based organisations to deliver inclusive and impactful climate interventions. Her work prioritises youth leadership, gender responsiveness, and accountability in climate action at the community level.
Through her engagement with CIF, Mbetobong supports initiatives that advance sustainable livelihoods, environmental awareness, and climate-resilient development in marginalised communities. She brings a strong understanding of participatory approaches and multi-stakeholder collaboration, and is committed to translating climate justice principles into measurable outcomes that improve lives and protect the planet.

She also supports finance operations updates, resource mobilization efforts, and helps maintain accurate records to strengthen accountability across program activities.
In addition, Faith Ekarika contributes to logistics coordination for meetings, trainings, and field activities, ensuring that necessary arrangements are in place. She provides general support wherever required, working closely with team members to meet timelines and operational needs. As she continues to grow in the role, she remains open to learning and improving her skills through practical experience.
