Insights from the tracking of Youth Focused Projects in Akwa Ibom 2022 Budget
Amidst Nigeria’s intricate challenges, especially in marginalized communities, the imperative for rigorous budget monitoring, tracking, and evaluation cannot be overstated. It is my pleasure and duty to present this report, focusing on “From Tracking to Transformation,” utilizing the 2022 approved budget of Akwa Ibom State to scrutinize youth-focused projects across significant LGAs.
“Roadto2023: A Compendium of Akwa Ibom Governorship Candidates’ Manifestos” to provide Akwa Ibom citizens with access to the manifestos of gubernatorial candidates. This initiative aims to increase awareness among citizens about the agendas and promises of political candidates, empowering them to make informed choices during elections. The foundation will also be conducting interviews to discuss their findings and share perspectives on the manifestos. We encourage citizens to exercise their right to vote on March 18th, 2023, and emphasize the importance of informed decision-making for the future of Akwa Ibom.
