Activity Overview
We had a productive engagement with the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to present our proposed Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Framework and explore strategic partnerships for building safer, more resilient communities.
The discussions focused on strengthening disaster preparedness, climate resilience, youth development, and sustainable livelihoods, while aligning with the State Government’s ARISE Agenda and ARISE Care and Share Programme.
We appreciate the Honourable Commissioner, Permanent Secretary, and the Ministry’s management team for their warm reception and commitment to collaborative solutions that enhance disaster risk management and sustainable development in Akwa Ibom State.
