REPORT OF A 3 DAY COUNTERING TRAFFICKING

The three-day Countering Trafficking in Persons Ambassadors Workshop was attended by the Program Director of the Clement Isong Foundation (CIF). Organized by LEAP Africa under the Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Engagement (SCALE) Activity, funded by Palladium and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the workshop aimed to enhance CIF’s capacity as a Counter-Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) Ambassador through a six-month hybrid capacity-building program.

The workshop agenda included various sessions focusing on topics such as human trafficking, CTIP policies and advocacy, program design, transformational leadership, positive youth development, effective communication, pathways to progress, and gender equality and social inclusion. This comprehensive program aimed to equip CIF with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively advocate against human trafficking and promote awareness and prevention strategies in their community and beyond.
