Advocacy Training Report
The training on “Advocacy for Sustainable Governance Reforms and Community Charter of Demands (CCD)” aimed to enhance accountability, transparency, and effectiveness in Nigerian governance. Organized by the “State Accountability, Transparency, and Effectiveness” (State2State) Activity under USAID, it targeted CSOs, government officials, and local government representatives. The training focused on increasing sub-national government efficiency and responsiveness to citizen needs. Key components included advocacy strategies, communication techniques, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and campaign design. Mr. Elkanah Oluyori from the Clement Isong Foundation actively participated, reflecting CIF’s commitment to positive change. The training equipped participants with skills and knowledge to drive sustainable governance reforms and community empowerment.
