Clement Isong Foundation and Actionaid Nigeria Empower Youth Through Budget Monitoring and Tracking Training
In a bid to address the intricacies and challenges in effective budget tracking, the Clement Isong Foundation, in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria , organized a two-day capacity building training for young individuals. The training aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to monitor and track budgets effectively.
During the event, community members had the opportunity to voice their expectations and concerns regarding budget tracking. Through a critical examination of state budget documents, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the monitoring and tracking mechanisms. They also identified key expenditures in youth-focused sectors and devised advocacy strategies to engage critical stakeholders.
The training session proved to be highly engaging and informative, providing participants with the tools they needed to actively participate in budget processes within their communities.
