Education Stakeholders Submit 2021
Program Overview
As part of the activities commemorating International Student Day 2021, the Clement Isong Foundation (CIF) organized a 1-day Education Stakeholders’ Summit. The summit served as a platform where stakeholders—politicians, educators, academics, and civil society—came together to network, share ideas, and recognize key contributors to the education sector. Participants included students, youth advocates, civil society organizations, relevant foundations, academia, government, and private sector representatives.
The insightful discussions and presentations sparked intelligent conversations on the future of education. Key observations and recommendations from the summit included the urgent need to implement the strategies outlined in the Akwa Ibom Education Strategic Roadmap 2020-2030 to address the challenges facing education development in Akwa Ibom State.
This summit fostered collaboration among stakeholders and highlighted the critical role education plays in state development, focusing on people, planet, and prosperity.
