Clement Isong Foundation took part in a tree planting exercise as a pivotal component of the ‘Light Up Africa’ campaign. Organized by the Family Empowerment and Youth Reorientation Path-Initiative (FEYReP), this initiative is a beacon of hope, aiming to illuminate the future of African children through education.
In collaboration with esteemed partners such as Kucoin, a global cryptocurrency exchange, Griffin Consulting FZCO, Global CSR Consulting, and Smiling Simon Greenbuild Foundation, the campaign held the promise of delivering solar reading lamps to children in rural and underprivileged African communities.
Our participation in the tree planting exercise symbolizes our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By planting trees, we not only contribute to the beautification of our surroundings but also pave the way for a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
Through the ‘Light Up Africa’ campaign, solar reading lamps were given to children with the aim of illuminating minds, empowering children to pursue their dreams, and breaking the barriers to education that darkness imposes. With access to these lamps, children in remote communities can study safely and effectively, transcending the limitations of time and circumstance.
We are proud to be part of this noble cause, aligning with our mission to foster education, empower communities, and create lasting change. Together, let’s light up Africa, one child at a time. Join us in our journey towards a brighter, more prosperous continent.
